„All Quiet on the Western Front“ can be shown again
Since 2 September 1931 the Hollywood anti-war film, „All Quiet on the Western Front“, can again be shown in Germany in a slightly shortened version. German censors have cut out three scenes in which, in the opinion of those censors, soldiers of the Reichswehr are portrayed in an especially negative light.
