Seven Powers Conference in London

If the Reich government’s „tribute appeal“ had still nourished hopes for an early end to reparation payments, the victorious powers of the First World War soon rebuffed German demands. At the Seven Powers Conference in London, which is convened on 20 July 1931, the participants resolve only to „examine the German financial situation“ and to extend credits already granted.
