Nobel Peace Prize for Stresemann and Briand

On 10 December 1926 in Oslo, Reich Foreign Minister Gustav Stresemann and his French colleague, Aristide Briand become co-recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize. Both statesmen are recognized for their policies of rapprochement and their contributions toward achieving peace in Europe.
