Highway Code implemented

On 17 June 1926, the first uniform Highway Code is implemented in the German Reich. For two years the number of registered vehicles in the Reich has gone up dramatically since Germany’s first traffic light was installed in late 1924 on Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz.
